My dog has been going to this exceptionally well kept, clean, and enthusiastic kennel for almost a year, tried all of their services: daycare, training, grooming, and boarding -- and the experiences have been exceptional. My dog, Peke, absolutely loves going to this kennel. He is an affectionate dog and loves the people there. It is reassuring to know that when Peke is not with us, he is still part of a caring and loving "family."
Em 1 post Apr 14, 2008 10:11 AM	Our family could not ask for a better place then this for our dogs to vacation. The Gibson Family and Staff are wonderful. We never have to worry about them being too cold, too hot, not getting enough love and snacks. We are also so thankful to them when we lost a part of our family. On Thanksgiving weekend our 12 yr. old lab passed away in his sleep at the place HE LOVED. Bob laid Tyson to rest for us. In Bob's words, "He was also a part of our family". We cannot thank you enough. We also have another lab she is 2 and goes CRAZY when she gets there. SO, if you're looking for a great place for your dogs, to get the same TLC you give at home this is the place. Thank you
Autumn 1 post May 27, 2008 1:43 PM	My Golden Retriever, Autumn, has been going to Gibson Kennel's DayCare for over three years and she just LOVES it. When I ask her 'Do you want to go to school and play with your friends?" She dances around and gets SO excited. I feel that she is well cared for at Gibsons or I would never leave her. Bob, Mel and staff have been great to her and I love having her attend the DayCare there. They (dogs)get to play outdoors, but if the weather is bad, they go inside to a big play room. Other doggie daycare facilities put the dogs in crates in bad weather. Also in the summer, the dogs get to go in kiddie swimming pools and cool off. I know my dog LOVES to do that. I highly reccomend Gibson Kennels to anyone who wants to have peace of mind when leaving their dog off for the day or for an extended time.

I have a basset hound who goes to daycare once a week, and recently boarded him and our cat while we were away. We came to Gibson's from another local kennel who put a bark collar on our dog while he was boarded there. It caused a hot spot that got infected, and then the kennel gave us a hard time when we asked what happened to him. They said they "could do anything they needed" to control his barking. I felt that the least they could have done was to call me or tell me when we picked him up. In light of our past experiences, I am so glad that Gibson's is a clean, safe place. Every staff member I have met is nice, communicative, and seems truly happy to work there. They also understand that bassets are bred as hunters, and they do bark.. very loudly too! I recommend Gibson Kennels to anyone and everyone. Our experience has been fantastic.
Olie 1 post Oct 09, 2008 4:40 PM	Hi...I am Olie aka "Old Man" since I am the oldest dog to still be playing at Gibson. I just wanted all pet owners know that Gibson Kennels is like going to the spa! I have always been treated so well by everyone from boarding, grooming and day care. I look forward to the days when I can go play with my friends, especially when there is a party for Halloween, and the holidays! I even got a present for my birthday!!! I think I have received the most presents because I am so old..but I thank Gibson and the staff for keeping me happy and healthy still at my "old man" stage as I am called. The kennel is clean, warm in the winter and cool in the summer, I can play outside everyday when I am boarded, and hugs are always given while I am there. When I am groomed I am made to feel so special. I never cooperated with other groomers but while at Gibson I can feel the love so I know I am safe. I can not say enough about day care. I love it. My tail wags the minute I know I am going..it is the best way for me to get exercise, socialize with other dogs and play in a way that I can not at home. The day care is so clean it smells like a spa! I commend Bob, Mel, the boys and staff og Gibson for giving so much of thier lives to make a clean, safe, loving place for animals.

I highly encourage you to drop off your bouncing dog for a day of play so that you can enjoy the peaceful calm of an evening post-daycare.

The facilty was clean and warm. It is the first time she has ever been boarded and reading all your wonderful reviews makes me realize we picked the right place.
